Ableton Forum

I have been using live to create my own music using midi and instraments, and it works fine. I tried to import a MP3 file and after live finishes analyzing the file, audio stops and the program freezes. I can click on the file->close, then I get the spinning beach ball for at least a minute, then it finally closes. Anyone have any idea as to what is happening? I dont know if this happened before because I did all my MP3 mixing on my other computer, this is the first time I tried it on this one.

[edit] I just tried a WAV file that I decoded on my own, and it worked fine. [/edit]

MacBook Pro 2.0Ghz, 1GB Ram, OSX 10.4.7
