Double Clicking bug?

A very strange thing has suddenly begun happening. I am running Live 2.1.2 in MAC OSX. Everything has been going fine. But suddenly I am virtually unable to successfully double click in the program Live. And I mean specifically WITHIN Live and not in my desktop or elsewhere. Single clicking is fine as always but to open up new projects or create a volume node, it requires me to click about 30 consecutive times and only SOMETIMES succesfully click on it.

Any explanation to this phenomenon?

Hi,

thanks for your post. Two questions:

1. For how long do you run Live before that happens?

2. Do you use any non-Apple keyboards or mice?

Thanks

Hi !
I had the same Probem but i did use a Kensington USB trackball. It would be very important for us to know if this problem does also occur with the standard Mac Mouse.

Thanx, Robert / Ableton

Hey there, the problem does indeed occur with the standard Mac mouse and keyboard. I run Live on my powermac G4 that is always on sleep mode (never while Live is open though) And it can happen right when I boot up Live. Very frustrating.

Any thoughts?

So does that mean, that you do not have a mouse or keyboard apart from the apple stuff?

could you give me a list of your USB equipment?

Yeah, I just have the standard Mac mouse and keyboard. For USB I have an OXYGEN 8 KEYBOARD, THE M-AUDIO DUO and the EDIROL UA-1D.

Hi,

thanks for your answer. Unfortunately the problem stays irreproducible for us. Please send an Apple Profiler report so that I can see which drivers are installed in your system. This might give us a clue of what the problem is.
