my laptop crashed while i was working on a file.
when i try to open it now. live says: error while openeing... created by an newer or imcompatible version
unknown compound stream

i opened the file with an editor, and as far as i can tell, it looks the same as my other (working) files. maybe some wierd symbols at the beginning are different.

i´d appreciate my tips how i could get this file repaired

ps: i´m using a pc

you can send the .als file to me. maybe I can restore something but I can not guarantee that. In the worst case it's lost.

When you send to me, please let me also know which version of Live do you use.

I've already seen this message when I tried to open songs made with a previous version of Live with Live 2.01 (and 2.02 if my memory's OK)
