Hey I just installed the Live 6 (6.0b15) beta release and I clicked on an ".alc" file that was in the library window. Live crashed and when I started Live again it asked me where it could install the "Live Directory." I told "it" to install in the my documents folder and I made a folder called "Live Directory" so Live could install into that folder. I will report back if further crashes are reported.
(on second thought: maybe I will, maybe I won't)

BTW: My mac has been acting weird for months now. Tiger 10.4.7 (i.e Spotlight doesn't work at all and command F doesn't find anything so...therefore???) So take this crash with a grain of salt. (?)

backup and do a fresh install.. or do all the repair permissions and drive checking bits... bott from CD and do that is the best way and boot from CD with D held down and do a hardware test.
