Hi all.

I'm trying to get Live to send MIDI to my trusty EMU Proteus 1000 via my M-Audio Axiom 25 keyboard.

I can record Midi notes no problems and hear sound output ok from the Proteus.
The problem is when it comes to playback......

Playing back what I just recorded, I get no sound. The proteus is not recieving Midi as the Midi recieve light does not come on.

I have tried every combination in the MIDI setup of Live but to no avail =(

I thought the Axiom 25 would also act as a 1x1 MIDI interface?

:Kit List:

Mac Mini 1.6GHz Intel Core Duo
M-Audio Axiom 25 (connected to Mac via USB)
EMU Proteus 1000 Sound Module (Connected to Axiom via MIDI Leads)

Help would be most appreciated as I have spent the last 3hrs trying to figure it out with no joy >_<

GOT IT WORKED OUT!

You have to enable the MIDI output manually on the Axiom keyboard
