MK-249C keyboard & 10.4.7

I dusted off my MK-249C keyboard for some playing around, and my Mac won't see it (via USB). It worked fine the last time I used it. The only thing I've done since then is update my OS to 10.4.7.
It's (allegedly) class-compliant, so no drivers needed.
Any help appreciated!
