shiva you put together great mixes every time, I love your taste in music. This is helping me push through a monday morning at work, I should get some big speakers from the lab, crank this shit over the cubicles and shoot anyone that complains. I wonder if I can get a midi controlled machine gun to fire in breakbeat patterns.
<joking of course, such shootings aren't funny>

actually I have to say...
I was listening to it, and I havent smoked weed in a couple of weeks - gave mine all away knocked it on the head, but last night I was a bit bored and I discoved my vapouriser leftovers in a little bowl so I made a little toilet roll pipe and lit it up
right at that precise moment a voice came tearing out of the speakers "PUT DOWN THE WEED AND DEVELOP A PLAN!!!"
it scared the fuck out of me
it kept repeating and it was definitely part of the music and not God
but still, it was a message and I spent the rest of the night thinking "Plan? what fucking plan? What am I going to plan???"

ah instant laughter
I might just have to watch that again tonight
no book has ever made me laugh out loud so much, and the film is probably the only adaptation I've ever seen that really did the book justice
"what are we going to do about these god damn bats?"
you're right about the voodoo of the Shiva and she hasnt even checked in to see the development of this thread yet

'Where the Buffalo Roam' is another HS Thompson influenced movie, Bill Murray in Thompson's semi-autobiographical account of being a campaign reporter during Nixon's election.

but we digress...
