9.) Macintosh leads in graphics and color: Unless you are only doing word processing, the Mac is the best computer for graphic design and color work. Desktop publishing was created on the Mac with the advent of PostScript, PageMaker, and the LaserWriter. Even art departments of PC magazines like PC Computing, PC Magazine, and PC World use Macs exclusively.

Ask yourself what OS do I like best? If it's OSX, get a Mac. If it's XP, get a Mac with Bootcamp.

who is the best fighter: superman or the incredible hulk??!?!
Na, seriously, I have both systems and not a lot seperates them. Even the price these days is comparable. And I tell you that honestly from experience, and not through corporate advertising or tribalism. Dont listen to the fanatics who only know their system and just hate the other tribe cause it is 'crap'. Deep down these dudes have the same mentality as racists! Would you trust the opinion of a racist?
why do u hate macs: cause they are 'crap'
why do u hate PCs: cause they are 'crap'
BULLSHIT: both are pretty damn excellent
You should buy whatever YOU feel comfortable using. Ideally you should try both systems. Take a live demo and your soundcard to the shop with you and satisfy yourself. I am sure the dudes at the shop will be happy to accomodate you
sony duo core v intel duocore macbook ... a good fight if you ask me

Go with what you are comfortable with. THere are great laptops for both Os's. I work with a THinkpad and it is great. My friend uses a newer dell and has no problems. Another friend of mine has been touring for 3 years with his Toshiba and has no issues. Many of my friends use powerbooks and love them. It's what you are used to and are comfortable with. Don't waste your time getting a different OS under your belt unless you really want to.
