Video formats supported by Live 6

is there any possibility to use avi, mpeg in Live 6?
i can use only MOV format...

that's because (to my knowledge) Live 6 video support requires quicktime - which is why it is .mov.
however, .mov is just an extension which is specific to QT. The file can actually be encoded in many different types of codecs: mpeg / avi / mjpeg / mp4 / etc...
essentially, the file needs to be quicktime compatible.
this could be problematic if it was originally encoded with windows media player or another app which isnt compatible with quicktime...
its a bit confusing, but i hope i am making some sense.
