Audio Skipping/Glitching in Live 5.2

Hi there,
I've been using Live for about three years and never experienced this problem before.
My audio is skipping and glitching in Live only, no other programs. It's irregular in that it only happens at certain times but always at the same points in the track. I've tried running the track audio off both drives and the problem is the same. The audio in Logic is perfect so I doubt it's a drive problem.
I'm slightly freaking out as I have a 2 hour radio mix to do next week. Any ideas?
My set up is as follows.
Apple Powerbook G4 1.67 Ghz 5400rom
Audio Drive - Lacie 250 7200rpm with Firewire 800
Ableton Live 5.2
Motu 896HD
Edirol UM880
etc.
