Hi folks,

some additional words concerning the web shop and how to get Live 6.


Most important, you just have to log in on the web shop www.ableton.com/shop and you can see all your Live 6
upgrade options depending on your license.



Instrument Special Offers:
Save EUR 20/USD 25 on Operator by adding it to your cart with Live.
Save EUR 30/USD 35 on Sampler by adding it to your cart with Live.

- You should login to see your available Upgrade options

- Add your Upgrade or Full Version of Live 6 to your cart

- In your cart you will see the special Operator and Sampler offers

- Once you add a special offer to the cart you will see your
discounted price


Live 6 printed manual and stickers without Essential Instrument
Collection:

- If you want the manual and stickers without the EIC, add your
download upgrade or full version to your cart and click the continue
shopping button and select the Merchandise category and you will be able to
add it to the cart.

So, I've just bought a boxed version of 5.2, Dl'd 6 today... Is it possible to just get a printed manual, or would I of had to buy the EIC boxed bundle to get that? thx. The 5.2 manual's a bit redundant now.

Can you explain what the "???" category is. I can't find this to remove the EIC from a boxed order.

Do I have to purchase an item to get the serial number? I already downloaded the live 6 upgrade but I haven't gotten a serial number.

hmmm...

Mine shows the free upgrade to 6, but nothing about the $120 upgrade for the box with EIC, which is what I want.

It stated that you could buy Live 5 at $249 and get 6 for free up to Oct 31st..

I was waiting to earn the cash next week so I could buy it and now suddenly you can only buy it at $299.. Whats happened??

There should be another month to go no?

P.S this is upgrade from Live Lite.

I think that's what I wanted, too, but I didn't realize it would cost $120. I bought Live 5 earlier in the summer, in time be eligible for the free upgrade. I'm downloading that, but I think I either jumped the gun and missed the EIC, or ... I'm not sure. Anyway, I see no way to get the EIC in the Shop.

Is there a way? Am I perhaps entitled to a special price, or free, since I only just got Ableton Live on Aug 24?

Sent an email to the Abes, no response so far, and we are still a month away from the deadline...It seems there are more than one with the same problem, lets make ourselves be heard.

I upgraded to 5.2 - i thought there was a discount for the intel mac users? it sais 99 eu - is this the correct price, or should it be cheaper?

Yes, I'm sure a lot of people were waiting till this month to go ahead and buy but have now been caught out?

I'd say you send an email to them too, so they know there's more than one person with this problem.

I am having trouble as well - no free upgrade to Live 6 appears. I unlocked Live 5 for the first time on August 19th.
