Ableton Forum

I`m current live 5 user abroad trying to upgrade online but I`m having trouble with the upgrade window. It keep getting a message of no upgrade now. Any suggestions as I have already written Ableton, checked the support faqs, logged in again and again and yes I have the demo. With no way to purchase the upgrade though I no way to change the demo to full version without the serial number. I checked the previous threads too. So I`m open to problem solving tips??

maybe try a different browser?

clear the cache of your browser (in preferences)?

Click you want to purchase the full version and then see if just maybe the upgrade was allready on your shopping cart. If it is you cannot select it a second time!

Remove the full version and proceed to checkout.

If not....well can't help trying!! This is what happened to me!

THANKS MAN!!!!! You are a lifesaver downloading and setting it up at this minute. Strange how the shop page is set up. Thanks again I think that Ocean guy has the same problem.

Off to set up Live 6 he, he,

I just lost a hour trying to get it dl. It says now in safari that it will be two hours.
Edit: but the demo is loading REALLY fast. I'm not sure what to make of THAT. Hopefully I can unlock from it.

Pisses me off because I don;t even have time to pplay around, I just wanted to help set the record on straight on the microkontrol issue since I finally got my library to work.

Just follows Acidfever`s advice and make sure you delete the full version out of your cart and keep the upgrade at the check out.

Can't do that. I have two liscenses at the moment and it would try to upgrade my second one to 6.

EDIT: Yeah, this method looks like it is working (from the demo.)

Yep- it asked me for my serial #. Sweet. Looks like it found some of my presets too.

EDit: missed a character! Things should run fine now!

EDIT:

Nope- I still get the bouncy ball instead of succeful serial # unlock.

Same problem here chaps.. I get the "this extension is not available"
