Hey.

I don't know if anybody else has the same problem, but when I open NI's Reaktor 5, as rewire, and open an Ensemble, the toolbar on top of the screen (you know, with the blue apple, and the File, edit, view and so on) goes invisible, and all activity as saving, loading, midimapping, keymapping, copy, paste and so on is disabled.

I've only tried this on my old G4 iMac, and not on my new Macbook Pro, because NI hasn't updated Reaktor for UB yet, so I don't know if this problem will accure on Intel-Macs.

Can anybody help me?

How are you opening Reaktor as a ReWire client? Reaktor doesn't do ReWire...

I don't know if it's called rewire, when its Reaktor, I just open it as a VSTinstrument. I've been doing this with Live 5 for a year now, with no problems, and there is no problem in doing so with Live 6 either, but it just disables my toolbar on top, prohibiting from saving and loading the Live project, and all the other stuff you do in the toolbars.

Hmm... I'm still using 4.1.4, so I can't help you there. I've sent out a mail to a couple people who might know what's happening here, though- hopefully they'll post here or I'll hear back from them.

Hey again.

I decided to play with Reaktor anyway in Live, and after a while, a period of maybe some minutes, the toolbar returned. I don't know if this is because Live is loading or working on Reaktor the first couple of minutes, when you open it. Anyway, it's never happened to me before Live 6, but as long as it works after a while...

But I guess I sort of panicked when i wasn't able to map my midi or keys and I was a bit fast to put up this thread. I tried to choose some other Ensembles, and every time I choose a new one, it does the loading thing, so I can't map or save in that period of time but I can play the instrument while Live does this peculiar thing.
