i have the FW-1082 and a dual Power PC G4 running OSX 10.4.8 and it worked perfectly in 5.2 but with 6 it has seemed buggy. I got some crashes when looping and the faders do not reset upon quitting Live, they remain in the last positon. I emailed Ableton today and included my crash logs. I will keep you posted when I hear back. In the meantime I will further test it to narrow down some more bugs.

I made an analysis with midi monitor , of both LIVE 5 and 6, and there's definitely a problem with the way LIVE 6 send back data to the FW,
The incoming datas from the Tascam are normal, but midi monitor show that datas that coming back to the FW as invalid data.......
Please, do something about it, i'm using LIVE on windows for the moment, but i'd really like to use it on MAC OSX...

I have live 5 and live 6 in my powerbook G4 1,67 with 2 gigabites of ram, And a Tascam Fw 1884. I have the same problem with abelton Live 6.0.1 but with Live 5.2 works perfect. I have made de upgrade and y really love Live 6 so much.. that i use this version, even with this bug... I agree that the problem is the comunication betwen live 6 and the mixer.. in that way.. since the comunication betwen the mixer and live 6 works fine. Please take note of this!! I ll be patient.. but is frustating to see how good it works with 5.2.

The update to 6.0.3 fixed this for me... THANKS ABLETON!!
