interesting problem? (new to ableton live)

Hiya folks, first post, and wanna say G'day here
anyhow.. Im writing a track with loops in session view (woops? maybe?) and Im rewiring in Reason too.. however, there are some loops im making (two in fact) from midi (using the korg legacy's LegacyCell vst) and I notice that if i play/run two or more, it starts using up the CPU heaps to like 40-60% usage (as in I have two or more instances of the vst located in different instruments/loops..
Is there something I'm doing wrong? or something I should look at? I've posted in here as well just in case I went to the wrong thread. (apologies if this is a problem)
Looking forward to a reply soon as I want to keep playing/eventually moving my loops/tunes into ableton's format, and possibly discard reason? or rely less on having tracks ON reason.. but yeah
oh and my specs are: PowerBook G4 1.67GHz w/ 2GB ram, and MacOS 10.4.8
if you folks need more info please im happy to have a look (there's no hurry, as i'm just learning Live the more hands-on way)
