Ableton Forum

I'm an experienced Live user, but MIDI-deficient. I just starting using Sampler (using my computer keyboard thus far) and need a bit more information than is in the manual about this great instrument. I understand the "sustain loop" portion and can get that to work, but I haven't been able to get the "release loop" to work. Is this only possible with a MIDI keyboard, or am I overlooking something else? If any MIDI gurus have any input on this, that would be great!
