Hi guys,
i'm in the market for a usb midi interface, and i've always been happy with motu products. i've narrowed it down to the above but was wondering if anyone here can shed any light on them and whether the express really is worth the additional £80 or so...
cheers in advance!!!

If I rememeber, the only thing that you are getting with express is more channels. I vaguely remember trying to make the same decision. My advice is to go with the microlite. I'm finding myself using more vst's, you may find yourself relying on outboard gear less and less.
If it ends up you need more midi channels in the future, you can just add another microlite. In the end, 2 microlites cost about the same as an express. So for now, if one microlite is enough, save your money.
cheers...

the only pisser about the micro lite, is there is no power cord, and needs a USB. for me to use it i have to connect a stupid USB hub. i would prefer it communicated to my laptop via the MIDI-IN/OUT of my Motu 828, and not via USB.

Hello,
I've just picked up a second hand micro express. But without the manual. Does anyone by any chance have a PDF or so they could direct me to please ?
MOTU ask 20$ bucks for a copy on their website, to me that's a rip off.
Thanks ahead.
