Finding missing samples takes forever

Abes,
Why is it when I'm managing my library, it takes 4 hours to replace 10 samples? Took forever to analyze everything, then when there were 10 samples that were outside the library and I go through the process of replacing them, each sample takes a minimum of 5 minutes to be replaced?
