have nt installed live 6 yet cos of problems with ableton changing security with serial unlocks etc but also havent installed it cos.....

i just switched from using a pc to mac book pro - installed ableton 5 - had the problem with upgrading to 6 cos the website told me that the service isnt available to me....

before i install 6 though i want to sort this out - plugged in my lexicon omega and tried to play an imported clip and the CPU is running at 180% - which explained the insane distortion coming through the speakers

even when ableton is sat with a open template - nothing in it at all -no clips no devices - then the CPU is at about 15%

trying to change the lexicon settings in the preferences is causing ableton to quit

someone help so i can get my hands on ableton 6

cheers - buzby

weather in iceland, sunny but fecking cold and i have a great view of the mountains to keep me temporarily sane 8O
