does anyone know what's coming with the box version of live 3?

I got Live2 as the download version then thought afterwards that i might have liked the samples etc the box version comes with, but there wasn't any real way of upgrading from the download to box version - is it the same one for 3 or new loops etc??

the Live 3 (upgrade) box contains the following items:

- Live 3 Program CD in a Digipak
- Live 3 Manual
- Live / Ableton Stickersheet
- Power FX Sample CD

I'm also thinking of buying a UC-33 and notice there is an offer if i'm a live user - is there likely to be any differing bundle offer if i was to do it at the same time as buying live 3? How long would it take to get to the UK and is there a freight charge

I'm in the UK...i ordered some time ago, 3 weeks or something like that...anyway still waiting...oh with UC-33


hopefully they will of given me Live 3 (instead of the 2 that I ordered) as I was intitled to a free upgrade to that anyway...

hmmmm, well considering they have them at digital village for £189quid which is about a tenner more than the Ableton cost with shipping, I might try and get them to knock the tenner off and do the 20minute drive to chadwell heath instead then!

I got it at last a few days ago

So what is the procedure for upgrading anyway? Do we deal direct with Ableton or do we go through our retailers / distributors? I'm in Canada so would I have to deal with some sort of third party?

Also, I would like the boxed update. Love them stickers!!!

I've been dealing direct for upgrades (via this website). I ordered the box, but was given access to the download in the meantime... nice system!

Shipping costs are always reasonable too... at least to Japan.

I,m in the same boat. The word from ableton is that the boxed version is 30 euros for those of us who purchased after the cutoff date on Aug 1st. You obviously have access to the download section with that. I,m goin for the box as the power mentor in me likes to see all those lovley shiny boxes lined up on my shelf ! He he

are the sample packs different in live3.0 cd compared to live 2.0 cd?

because i have live 2.0 cd.

yes, the sample content of the Live 3 CD is different to the one from Live 2.x.
