how to get the video window back?!?

i've got some video going fullscreen on another output, but can't get it to minimise with a doubleclick. is there any other way to force this to minimise? i couldn't find anything in the menu's...
i've tried starting a new set and dropping a .mov in, but i don't get any window in that case. if i open up the set that i originally made fullscreen on the second output it comes up fine... on the second output only no matter whether i have it enabled or disabled.
i also deleted my prefs, but htne live 6 wouldn't start, apparently choking on a vst. but if i restore the prefs everythings fine but i go back to my original program... what the?
anyone hot any ideas?
