hello...hoping somebody can help with this. i'm trying to send midi clip evelope messages to supatrigga on the sends..it doesn't pop up as a choice for routing in the midi to or the clip . but does if supatrigga is on the track not the send.

I don't think you can do that without using some sort of midi loopback device. I use midiox. Maybe I'm totally wrong... :?:

i'm not sure supatrigga receives midi? it'll show up in a clip as available for clip envelopes, but i'm pretty sure you can't send midi directly to it... :?
anyone else know for sure?

yea, I have a macbook (which I just bought a few days ago) haven't had a chance to use iac yet but I hear thats pretty much the same thing and people use it as a loopback. let me know if that works, i'll give it a shot on my laptop too.

out of curiosity; why have supatrigga on a send?

alot of work today so i haven't had the time to try the iac bus...but the reason i need it on the send is basically a routing issue in a sound installation...where midi triggers are sending cc messages to different plug-ins...but i would like to have seperate sub mixes going out the sends with other plug-ins...but supatrigga doesn't recieve midi...
i thought for some stupid reason that most of the plug ins from that designer recieved midi (buffer interupt, scrubby, geometer for example)...guess i'll just have to send the mixies to another audio track and use clip envelops? not much control though....i'm still a newbie with ableton.
