Got Live 6, now my Edirol controller driver won't install

Well, that's it in the subject line. System is Windows XP home. Every time I try to load the driver it prompts a re-start, and when it restarts, back comes the "found new hardware" wizard.
The only thing I can think of that is different since the Edirol was working normally is Live 6.
Any ideas?
