hi there,

yes, i´ve been working with a cracked live5.1 version (no comment please) but that´s over now! also the (copied) 5.2 version crashes when i´m opening old projects from the former version...

i read about this problems... and now i´m willing to get a legal student licensed version. but i´ts very important to be able to open and finish the started projects from the former version!

do anybody know if this will work? i read that the violation of copy protection will make a note in the projects. but will this also concern and stop the BOUGHT version?

Hi,

Your sessions should not be 'infected', and you should be able to open them in your legit version, as well as work on them and save them.

Kind regards,
Amaury

I thought you're mad advertising the use of warezed software.

I suppose the point is that you've bought a legit copy now.

Amaury has provided us with an example of how forward-thinking Ableton are.

Don't we all love 'em!!

my problem is not solved yet. today i went to a friends studio to finish and render my old project. he´s allready working with licensed live6 and it was no problem to open my old "infected" project. but this project was using something from reason via rewire and it also worked fine together with reason. but when i was changing a rewire channel, the copyright violation repeated again and closed live!
even though we were using the legal version!

maybe the problem is the involvement of the rewire application, but for me it´s not possible to use an old project with a new licensed live version :(
