Does it make a real difference (speaking in terms of audio aplications) that the pro has better graphics card ?

Has anyone compared these two models? 8O

Yes.
The pro will soon be very different to the Macbook. It will get the new processors from intel, whereas the macbook will probably stay with the core duo.
Don't buy either right now, they are both shite. (I warned you).
Those who have one of these will kick off, I'll let you decide who to believe.

I have heard that they will put xeon proc. at the pro books...

Why you think that they are shit/

I recently heard some very good words about macbooks...

No, I doubt it will be a xeon, core2duo? (I can't remember what they are called) the new mobile intel processors.
Like I said...you can make up your own mind, its your money.
I'm not gonna go into it, but if you can wait a few months, you'll probably be laughing (And people who own them now will be crying or selling)

Ha ha ha ha brilliant advice. The thing is any computer you'll buy will be wort half the price the second after. I have one of each and like em both.
They are still better than the PowerBooks, which I have also.
If you can wait until christmas, wait. If you can't wait buy a MacBook it's most bang for the buck right now.

Lets face it...Powerbooks are weak as piss.(I love my computer cause it works for me, but I'm not an idiot, I crave more power so I can take over the world)
ahlstrominfo is right too, all computers are obsolete the day after you've bought it. For the money right now, the difference between macbook and macbookpro isn't worth the cost. Get a Bigmac or a Quarter Pounder with cheese and look at a magazine with computers in (wet your appetite).
The thing is something better is coming very soon (the chips are already here now, and at mcdonalds you can get large fries but no supersize  ). For now hold onto your money if you can.

Thats my advice to. Save your money atleast 2-3 more months... if you can, that is.

Regarding the audio performance difference: I see none.
There probably will be more difference between the macbook and macbook pro in the upcoming releases.

If you need a computer now, just buy it. If you don't, then maybe it's worth waiting. As soon as the Core2Duo's are released, you'll hear of a quad MacBook Pro coming out or something, this is the nature of technology.

I don't understand why people lay into MacBook/Pros, they are exceptional notebooks. Nothing else compares on aggregate.
