sh-201 synth problem

Hey - can anyone help ?

I have purchased the new Roland SH-201 synth - and want to know how to integrate it with Live - and hear it as a VST....

I can get it showing up in the plug-in section - and the editor launches when I drop it into a midi channel. However thats where it stops I can't hear any sound!

I keep getting messages that the midi settings are wrong

The SH-201 shows up and works as a midi interface/controller no probs.

The main thing I want to do is use the USB audio capability to record the sound.

Does it need to be a VST for the USB to carry audio? Or is there some other setting so that I can hear what I play via USB?

Any advice would be extremely appreciated..
