In live 2.1.2 and Fruity Loop RW beta 6...
when I start the play from live it drops off the first midi notes sent to the vsts... however when I start play from FLRW everything gets to kick off nice and smooth...
do I have some buffers or something setup incorrectly?

hmmn. I'm running the same (except beta5 FL, I got to go get 6) setup. ARe you saying you have midi notes in piano rolls etc. in FL, and when you hit play in live with FL as slave, that there is a delay or loss of the first few notes, but not when you hit play directly in FLRW (but still as slave to Live)?? If so, I cannot replicated this problem. However, I have occasionally had serious latency for the first few beats when recording some vsti's audio into Live clips. Sometimes the first few beats are seriously behind--not sounding good. It seems to only happen sporadically and I'm narrowing it down--I think its only after I've rendered to disk in Live, which always causes FLRW to close its file, and prompt me if I want to save my file. Sometimes after I open my FLRW file back up, my idle cpu meter in Live will go from around 17% to 35%. When this has happened, I've tried closing FLRW, then Live and opening them back up--hasn't worked. Either I'm still at 35% cpu, or a few times, Live's rewire is actually missing, it doesn't recognize ANY of my rewire devices when I open Live back up. The only current solution--cold reboot. Workaround--don't render to disk til I'm about to close down the set anyway. HOwever, the whole FL file closing when rendering in Live is weird. All in all though, this is the best rewire software into Live ever to me, and more stable than others I've tried except for reason. Lovin' it!

For both live is master and fruity is slave.
I created a speech phrase in fruity loops...
When I press play in live it drops the first word (midi event) in fruity...
When I press play in fruity it does play the first word...
I've noticed that project 5 seems to drop midi events when looping as well... however in project 5 it seems to do this even when it is running stand alone...
