remote sl: changing adsr on the pads?

my new remote sl61 seems funky. is it normal for the drumpads to have an infinite sustain, not releasing the note after it has been pushed once? if so, how is it possible to change this, because this causes problems when i try recording loops and my padpresses just keep on recording notes without ever letting go.
