I have tried to render to disk today for the first time with Live 6 on my 2.0gHz Macintel and even though it seems to go through the motions it doesn't do anything! No file is created at all. What could be wrong? :?:

what are you rendering and from where?

are you rendering whole songs from the arrangement or clips from the session?

I was rendering from the arrangement window and using the Loop/Punch - recording region brace. Anyway it failed to render on every occassion and I was doing nothing more than I had done in Live 5.xxx. After I quit and restarted Live 6 it started working.
It could be a bug of some sort because it should work everytime. It may have to do with memory/ram not being released to perform the job such that a restart will release this ram. :?

dunno man - i have only just switched from using a PC to Mac and have nt tried rendering yet - i will try tomorrow

is what you are rendering a file which you were using in 5 or one that is new to 6 ?- maybe something has tweaked

i saved all my 5 sets as self contained but when opened in 6 none of the samples could be located - tweaaaakkkk - so i´m in the process of going through that -
