ON STAGE :: Big bar number counter / display :: Possible?

Would love to hear what some of you do for solving the following problem:
I have one computer running Live as the master for everything, and with several musicians they all want to be able to see bar numbers go by, so that they can plot ahead when their parts are changing.
Right now they cannot do it unless they physically come over and squint at the computer.
-1) Is there a way to display the bars and beats in a separate little pop-up window within Live, some kind of way that it can be read from a distance of 2 to 3 meters?
-2) If there isn't, has anyone seen such a third party app with a 'stay always on top' window feature which would allow to always be seen, and it derives the clock from having Live sending it across (-> Soundflower, Plogue Bidule, Rewire, ...)
-3) I remember seeing someone who had (many years ago) purchased a stand-alone box that did just that, a giant LCD bar and beats counter which took its information via MIDI song pointer...
Any info welcome, searched the forums for this but couldn't find anything remotely on topic.
Thanks in advance.
