bad autonaming of clips

I am just cleaning my harddisk and realised that the autonaming of newer liveversions creates horrible amounts of double names...
In earlier versions the song name appeared in the autonaming of the clips...resulting in unique names...Now i ve dozends of clips called "track 1-1"...that is no improvement..i think i could call it a bug...
actually it would be enough when only the first 3 and last 2 letters of the trackname would be used in the autoname...and Track 1 could be T1 or Tr1.
would be nice if you could bring the more intelligent autonaming back.
Or maybe a preference setting where you could set the autonaming prefix...or an ongoing count for each launch/new set of Live inkl. in the autonaming.
If somebody knows a quick trick (better than renaming all tracks for each new song) please let me know.
