Live 6 crackles when i drag a new device into a set

hey
i ve just bought a pair of Event ALP-5 Monitors which now means i can hear everything
really clearly...
- including the crackles and pops when i drag a device into a set as it is playing -so i have hit the stop button everytime i wanna add some new device to a track
