I tried controlling Live's bpm with the SL, two problems
1 - PLAY and START don't work with EXT enabled. I can turn off EXT, hit play then turn EXT back on.
2 - Live responds to bpm changes sent by the SL but the bpm indicator doesn't update.

oh yeah... SL ver 2.0 (latest) and Live 6.01 (latest), USB connected to a PC running win XP home.

yes I had that issue as well and talked with Novation tech support about it.

They blame ableton :p

To be honest, I found so many faults with the software and hardware design of the Remote SL that I was pretty disgusted with yet another overhyped/underdevleoped product.

They kept hinting that I should check the next generation of automapping products they will be releasing. Personally I am sick of companies not properly supporting the products they put out (dishonourable, corporate mentality).

post your problems in the general forum, it's not a buggy device, or prove me wrong
