Non-Working VSTi's in Live?

Hi,
I've experienced that several VSTi's crash in Live while they run fine in Cubase. For example the Novation Bassstation, the z3ta+ and the Korg M1. The last two run if I use them through Xlutop Chainer but for example the Bassstation doesn't even do that.
I was wondering if there's a list maintained somewhere of which VSTi's doesn't run with Live. Would save users a lot of trouble (especially because Live messes up after a VSTi crash and system needs to be rebooted most of the time).
This happens with Live v6 on a Dual Core Pentium.

Novation has really good support. Have you tried them? They might fix.

I downloaded the demo and It worked for about ten minutes then crashed Ableton. Strangely It never worked again after that. I'd have more luck on a Spectrum 48k.

I'm also looking for info on what plugins work smoothly with Live. I'm using Guitar Rig and Reaktor inside Ableton's Audio Effects Racks. The more complex effects are the ones that seem crash. Could this be caused by not enough RAM?
Ableton 6.0.10
XP PRO
Intel Dou core 2.4
2GB of RAM

2 GB should be more than enough. I run all the NI stuff (including Kore) inside Live, and I've never had a crash with any of it. XP Home , a 4600x2 and 2 GB here.

Hi Ewistrand,
That is very interesting to hear. I'm wondering, if you were to create an audio effects rack with 3 Guitar Rigs, and then hot-swap to an audio effects rack with three Reaktor fx, would that create a crash on your system?
That combination produces intermittent crashes on my system.

sounds like a pirated version to me.
