Help - Simpler and Impulse folders

I am a new user of Ableton Live. It looks like I have 3 locations where Simpler and Impulse folders with sounds are located. They are: (I have MAX OS X)
1) ...Library\Application Support\Ableton\Presets\
2) ...Library\Application Support\Ableton\Presets\Instruments\
3) ...Library\Application Support\Ableton\Library\Presets\
When I compare the sounds in the Simpler, Impulse, and Affects folders across these 3 locations, the sounds are different in each one.
I would appreciate your help in understanding whether that is correct or not and why are there more than one location for?
And can you please explain to which locations should Live sets point?
