I'm trying to a turn on / off effects in a rack by mapping a macro to the fx on/off button and then setting the macro value from within an audio file with a clip envelope.

That should work right? So why doesn't the envelope change the value?

Anyone else had a similar experience?

That works fine for us here, so maybe the best would be to create a very simple set that demonstrates the problem and send it to me. Better if it uses a very small audio file and Ableton only devices so I can easily open it. Send it to [email protected]
