I'm not sure what concept they are proving
I am really vibing on all the new directions that are being pursued, but if you are going to release a demo on YouTube, at least find 3 minutes of audio that show the new tech in a favourable light. I think we all get the point that we would like to have a play with this stuff, and it looks kind of interesting. But I am hoping the future of DJing / live production includes the bit where the tunes are good

I think I get what's going on: The different dots represent frequency bands vertically, time horizontally, and they switch and gate between songs and so on.
Not horribly innovative, and doesn't sound nice at all. The only neat thing about it is the interface, I reckon. And that's yummy for sure, but it hardly warrants the IRCAM seal of approval!
