waves v 4.0 plug ins!

Why don't my million dollar Waves plug-ins work in live 2.0? I'm running windows ME! I tried 'em in the 3.0 demo (which was supposed to fix it) but they still won't work! Also, why doesn't live feature DX plug-ins like auto tune?

Waves Plugins
Problem 1: On Windows Waves Plugins with Shell < 4.0.1 (including 4.0) are not useable. It is impossible to install a plugin. Several operations, like saving in a song, don't work with older Waves versions.
Status 1: For all platforms we recommend to update to Waves Shell 4.0.1, which is fully supported in Live. There will be no fixes for older Waves Shell versions.
Problem 2: When a Waves Effect plugin gets installed in the Track the default preset is not installed. All parameters are set to zero and in most plugins no sound is audible. It is possible to change the preset oder modify the parameters and work normaly with the plugin.
Status 2: We are working with Waves on the problem.

I think i love you! Becuase of your prompt response, I have just ordered my Live V 3 boxed upgrade and am playing with my waves plug-ins after installing the updated waveshell! You're a genius!
waves 4.01 and live 3

I've read a thread in the general forum coming from someone who seemed to have problems with waves 4.01 and osx 10.2.8. (can't remember his name but he was from Seattle)

seems that the waveshell 4.0.1 doesn't work in live3 on OS10.3.1n it was working in 10.2.8 though...

fuck panther.
I've installed 10.3 and then I got a lot of strange errors... especially with the plugins... damn! then it didn't start up at all... f...
had to reinstall 10.2.8, that means 2 days reconfiguring etc... arrrgh!
stick to 10.2.8 works fine... although I'd loved to have the new features... guess you can't have everything :-/

The thing is that everything else works fine for me in panther, except the waves, i think i'm gonna go back to os9 for my live act...

I found out, it is so fucking weird!!! in OS10.3.1 with live 3 the waveshell 4.0.1 doesn't work, you need the waveshell 4.0, it is strange as in OS10.2.8 only waveshell 4.0.1 was recognize!!!
I had problems with suppatrigga, but i downloaded the last update and it worked perfectly!!!
