MIDI paramaters for modulars in live (reaktor, vaz, etc.)

greetings,
i'm wondering how i can assign my controller to a knob in reaktor, for instance. for "fixed" vst's, the paramaters show up and this is no problem, but it seems with modulars there's a different process. i've tried researching this a bit with no luck.......it's probably something simple.
thanks for any help!

you are best off using any internal midi learn - IE internal to Reaktor or Vaz.
that way you will simply record the midi cc number in Live and Live will pass it onto the instrument - which will deal with the assignation internally.

thanks for the quick reply, angstrom...
but i'm still having trouble. vaz does not show any paramaters in live, there's no "arrow" on the instrument module. but in metaphysical function (reaktor) i have a ton of "unnassigned" paramaters.
how do i assign a cc in live like you describe?
and just fyi, these aren't cracked programs, they should work fine.
thank you......

open the vaz interface itself, the big green modular thing that fills your screen - not the live interface.
now, any control you wish to map, right click, I think there should be some kind of 'learn midi' in there. Now twiddle a real word dial and the midi signal will pass through and the dial in Vaz will map, thats as long as the live track is armed for record, or switched to 'monitor' ... otherwise no midi will be passed to the instrument.
thats it.
hit record in live and record your twiddlings into a live clip.
