Yesterday I installed a number of new VST's. I installed these from a recent computer music magazine.

This morning I routed midi to the Microsoft wavetable synth to see what will happen.

Now everytime I open live or switch live sets a noise occurs (approx 3 seconds) which is realling getting annoying.

How can I get rid of this noise?

A further play reveals that when I disable the Wavetable synth in my midi routing preferences, this noise disappears... Problem resolved.

Now the question is, why does enabling the microsoft wavetable synth do this. Another issue I have experienced is that when routing midi to the microsoft synth I need to change the midi channel for the track each time I trigger a clip... Why
