Sending Midi to a Fire Organ... trying to solve latency

Hi,
I’m using ableton to sequence audio clips , and send midi to a fire installation simultaneously.
The fire unit triggers its flames a little bit late.
I want to make the audio play a little bit late too which will solve the synch problem.
I don’t want to set the overall latency of the audio though, as I don’t want my impulse samples to trigger late.
I just want to make four audio channels which contain clips to play late.
I fiddled with the “Track Delay” settings at the bottom of the audio channels but they don’t seem to do anything.
How can I sort out this synch prob?
Thankyou!
Rich
