DFH Korg edition problems

I've been having problems with the DFH superior Korg edition software that came with my padKontrol. Basically I am getting audio distortion and pops from my output in Live 6. I've been through the tutorial and understand the whole thing about multiple audio outs from a midi track. This happens whether I am using 8-9 audio tracks for the outputs or do stereo mixdown on one track. I notice a significant decrease in the pops and distortion when I turn off "TPC" in DFH, but it is still there. My cpu has never been loaded past 15% (I am using a Core 2 Duo 2.13 with 2 Gb ram). My ASIO driver doesn't allow for buffer size changes and my Latencies have been set with the proper procedure. I tend to believe that there is some issue with delay/reverb/echo or the sort because the pops seem to be some kind of overload echo of something and die out. (I'm not using any effects in Live).

I don't want to do an upgrade to a full DFH product untill I get this figured out.

Any Ideas are appreciated.

Oh, figured it out.

The DFH Korg edition is 44.1 khz and I was set at 96K in Live Preferences. Switched it and it works fine. That brings me to a whole slew of questions about the compatability of clips that are of different sample rate.

Does the project have to be of the lowest rate of the sampled clips?

Do the clips have to be of the same sample rate?

What about up/down conversion?

Thanks for any help.
