brand new battery 3. worked fine for about a week and all of the sudden; Ableton; "failed to make Audio Unit". i am pissed. tried reainstalling, no fix. also, ableton deactivated the Battery 3 VST, apparently its broken too. Native Instruments make a great product, but they can really let their customers down. i barely got to play with it either, only got it like 2 weeks ago.

(this post is in no way directed towards ableton. i just want to warn people about battery 3. maybe someone else has experienced this problem?)

Your not alone there! Atleast you actually got it working!
Yeah it works in standalone mode but thats about as much use as a chocolate fireguard!
Ableton6 crashes when i even search for the plug in...
I think its insane that NI (i am buying there software for the first time.. and guess what!?? probably the last time!) can release software and not test it properly on all major software platforms!
I personally think they knew about this problem and still released Baterry3!

Latest i heard was a guy complainning about a 4 month, YES THATS 4 MONTHS! wait for some nerd to fix the problem!!

Yeah your not alone, cubase uses suffering too... there are hundreds and thousands of us suffering ....

finaly got it working. had to uninstall and reinstall. woohoo!!!

Same problem... just finished installing the UB version of the Komplete 4 package and Battery 3 crashes Live every time I load it.

WTF is with NI?

Every time I've nearly had it with there stuff I get teased by some new product and hope that this one will be stable enough to run for longer than 2 to 5 minutes. I keep hanging on thinking that one day NI will get it right. But I'm about done with there "never write you back" customer service and brand new shiny full featured, conceptually amazing plug ins... with 20 something GB sample libraries I can't even use with in their own software.

Ableton 6 was solid as a rock.. seriously I hadn't seen it crash once since I installed ver 6 the day of its release. Get done installing the Komplete 4 package and it crashes every 10 minutes now.

Useless! "Komplete Crashing" should be the name!

I think I'm going to buy Abletons Sampler and pray its solid and integrated. If it is, you'll probably see a Komplete 4 bundle up for sale on ebay soon.
