velocity problem with akai cd

Hi,
I've converted a few akai cd,
and i've noticed that some samples
respond wrongly to the velocity settings:
if i put it to maximum, the volume sound is very low.
I've tryed to change the vel-vol settings but
the more strange if i turn down the velocity
the volume goes very high!
Anyone experienced something similar?
It happens with other two cds too.
