Highlighted Track - Why?

Today I opened a Live 6 set that I've been working on to find that one MIDI track in Session view and the instance of Impulse living there are highlighted blue. MIDI/Key mapping modes are not on. The channel appears this way as soon as the set opens and I am unable to edit/delete the track.

If I try to edit/delete the one MIDI clip in the column, Live tells me that "a serious program error blah blah". This set contains only Impulse instruments and midi clips; no 3rd party stuff. Negligible CPU and low RAM usage.

What is this? Is the set fried?

The blue highlighted tracks are frozen. To edit the data you must unfreeze it first.

Got it. I never use Freeze and couldn't figure out which function I'd inadvertently enabled.

Thanks
