It's been a while since I've posted here and I wanted to get back into the fold. I'm no longer the primary keyboardist in my band (since I've moved over to drums), but I still do a bit with keys and trigger samples, sequences, and loops live from that and my Roland pads. I've also upgraded to Live 5 and am loving everything.

Live Rig

Panasonic Toughbook 12.1" touchscreen Dual Core Centrino
Ableton Live 5
M-Audio Firewire 410
dbx Compressor
Presonus Headphone Amp
Furman
M-Audio Oxygen8 (custom paint job by me)
Roland SPD-20
Yamaha Kick Trigger
Sennheiser HD-280 headphones

I'm using the audio Ins on the Firewire to mix the sound from the Roland pad for any sounds I may use there. I then route a submix to the headphone amp and the main mix out to the compressor, which then goes out to the sound guy

We're an industrial band that has been delving into live drum'n bass as of late, and this rig has let me be pretty flexible with improvising sounds and such.

Oh yeah, the drumkit is a Pearl Masters BRX kit with a bunch of Paiste Cymbals
