Stutter with Live 3.0 and Uc-33

bought and installed the 3.0 upgrade today, and immediatly found out that i now cannot use my uc-33 controller without getting serious stutter/glitches.

The project is created with Live 2.0.3, and works perfectly in 2.0.3.
What's strange is that when I open the same project in 3.0 and move some sliders on the uc-33 (assigned to track volume), I get stutter/glitches and the cpu reaches far beyond 100%, even up to 500%!?!?.

In other words, 3.0 is unusable for me as I use Live for gigs, and rely heavily on the UC-33 for control...

Has anyone else experienced this, or is there any known issues connected to this?

My setup:

p4 2.4 ghz
1024 mbram
win xp pro
RME Multiface
Uc-33 via USB
...
...

Trond, Norway

I take it no one else experienced this, since there's no replies?

anyway, here's an update on the situation:

After experimenting a bit with latencies, different midi-interfaces and controllers and so on, I found out that if "Remote control - Output" is set to 'none', all my problems is gone!

I can now use my UC-33 as before, as this controller has no need to get data returned from "Remote control - Output", but those with motorized faders (or other) could run into trouble.

Hi Trond,
well at least I've been holding my breath since I just got hold of one UC-33 via eBay the other day.

yeah, I know the feeling ;-)

You'll be happy to know that I've run Live with UC-33 for hours today, and I've had none-zip-nada problems whatsoever!

Just make sure that that remote control-output is set to 'none', and you should be fine.

Trond
