MISSING FILES??? Samples offline???

hello fellow Liveheads...
a problems has occured with my machine twice now that has me almost to the point of depression...it happened a while ago, and i just dealt with it, but it has happened again, and some 6 of my songs are seemingly gone.
when i open live, it tells me that this and that file has been moved or replaced. inside the arranger view, it shows the framework for the tracks, everything in place, but the SAMPLES ARE OFFLINE. and i cannot find them. surely this is a nightmere, and someone out there will wake me up and help me find the files and put them back home where they belong!
