How to double loop length?

How do You make a loop that lasts 2 bars, repeat every four? Is there a way to insert silence so that the loop is twice as long, but with the second half not playing anything, that would accomplish what I'm after. Or do i need to edit the loop in a Wave editor and add A silence?
thanks

use follow mode - copy the clip, set the volume on the copy to zero, have them follow back and forth, bounce to another clip

or

arrange view - set the loop markers to what you want, drop the sample in place, play and bounce to another clip

or

set the clip to play once (one shot), bounce to another clip but record silence after it.

or... ;)

you missed one- the best one too!

on the clip (in session)- go to envelopes (e)

Volume, click 'linked' to unlink

drag the right (end ) loop marker to 5

draw the volume as quiet in whichever of the bars you want it to be quiet in.

...or drag the clip over to Arrange, select it with the mouse and continue selecting some silence on the timeline, then Consolidate. Drag back to Session. That will create a new clip with as much silence on the end as you want.

Yeah, I would vote for this one, too!
