hi,

I just bought a macbook pro (2.16Ghz, 1Gb ram, 15'') and just tried Live5.0.1. I came to the somber conclusion that (while just running 2 channels with 3 effects (beatrepeat, reverb, threewayequalizer) on each channel) the CPUload drew maximum! The audio started stuttering when I tried playing both channels at the same time,,

I tried all the tricks in de LiveManual, but nothing works.. what's the deal?? any of you have any idea??

You need to run Live 5.2 at least on the Macbook. Previous versions are not Universal Binary. Update you version from our website:

http://www.ableton.com/latest_versions

If you are told that your serial number does not work with that version, it means that you also need to upgrade your serial number to a specific Live 5.2 serial number:

http://www.ableton.com/upgrade
